Santa Cruz Speaks is a fantastic opportunity to learn a little bit about the town and all of us lucky enough to call this place home!

This year Santa Cruz Music Festival will be launching its satellite event “Santa Cruz Speaks”, a lecture series featuring prominent members of our community, designed to inform young people, festival go-ers, and the community about the issues that affect them and their town. This year there will be 4 topics being discussed- State of Santa Cruz, Sustainability, Cannabis, and Music. Each hour long section will feature 4-5 speakers who are well versed and credentialed in their topic who will speak on an issue important to them, followed by a Q and A facilitated by our host Matthew Swinnerton of Event Santa Cruz.

An SCMF event wristband will grant free access to this event, there will be a $10 door charge for those who wish to only attend the lecture and not the music festival. There will also be a donation and support booth present for the Victims of The Tannery Tragedy.
