Abbott Square is one of the many venues that will be hosting music for this years SCMF! This is definitely the place to be if you want some music for the soul. I’m super excited to see Santa Cruz’s very own Summit Sisters on the lineup; such a wonderful group of talented ladies! I am all about girl power, especially when it comes to music, and the summit sisters certainly bring it full force!
The Summit Sisters have been influenced by strong female musicians like Bonni Raitt, Tracy Chapman and Joni Mitchell. Each member adds their own unique vocals and musical talents; making for one incredible group. The women all share a great connection and passion for music. I have not had the chance to see them play before, but after watching some videos from their Facebook page I am super excited to see them next weekend! They bring the energy, and great songs to dance to!
